The 31-year-old pacer, who is ranked first among ICC Test bowlers, bowled 24.4 overs in the first innings and picked up five wickets for 83 runs. He remained wicketless in the second innings but didn’t concede many runs as well. Bumrah, who was the only bowler to make life difficult for English batters in the series opener, which India lost by five wickets, is doubtful for the second Test.
